Jesus Christ Superstar is coming to Woking Theatre in 2027!
Jesus Christ Superstar will play Woking Theatre from 20 to 24 July 2027 as part of its newly announced UK tour.
The production will star Sam Ryder as Jesus, bringing his highly anticipated performance in the iconic role to local audiences following the show’s London seasons at The London Palladium and Theatre Royal Drury Lane.
Featuring music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Tim Rice, Jesus Christ Superstar remains one of the most successful and influential musicals ever created, with songs that have captivated audiences for decades.
The tour production reunites the creative team behind the acclaimed Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre revival, including director Tim Sheader, choreographer Drew McOnie and designer Tom Scutt.
