Pig Heart Boy is coming to Lighthouse in 2025!

Based on Malorie Blackman’s beloved novel, Pig Heart Boy is a poignant exploration of childhood illness, identity, and survival. Adapted by Winsome Pinnock and directed by Tristan Fynn-Aiduenu, the play follows Cameron, a young boy facing a critical heart condition. Offered an unconventional heart transplant, he must decide how far he’s willing to go to regain his life. This new production, informed by the voices of young patients and families, premieres at the Unicorn Theatre before embarking on a national tour.
