Jane Asher and Samantha Womack will lead By Royal Appointment, the debut stage play from Victoria creator Daisy Goodwin. Asher will play Queen Elizabeth II, while Womack takes on the role of her trusted dresser in a story exploring the relationship behind the monarch's carefully crafted public image.
